Our client is a stable, global firm currently underway in a large transformation to Workday HCM. This role is central to the team, and requires
strong Functional Workday HCM skillset. Some of the responsibilities:
- Lead requirements discovery and analysis for enterprise HCM implementations across Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent.
- Author detailed Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) translating business requirements into system configuration guidance.
- Develop complex As-Is and To-Be business process flows in Visio, documenting approvals, roles, data ownership, and system interactions.
- Conduct gap analysis between current-state HR processes and target HCM functionality; documented impacts, risks, and resolution options.
- Serve as functional liaison between HR stakeholders and configuration teams to ensure alignment and requirements traceability.
- Support functional testing and UAT by defining scenarios, validating outcomes, and resolving requirement-related issues.
- Contribute to client deliverables following delivery methodology and documentation standards.
Requirements:
- 7+ yrs of functional experience with Workday HCM
- Broad knowledge across Core, Benefits, Time, Payroll, Comp, etc
- Understanding of technical topics; EIB, Reporting, etc
- Strong communication skills, able to work effectively with non-technical users
