Oracle Cloud ERP Technical Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle ERP Technical Consultant with deep experience in Oracle Cloud Financials. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in interfaces, data conversions, customizations, extensions, and reporting within Oracle ERP Cloud. This role requires close collaboration with functional teams to deliver robust technical solutions aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy RICEW (Reports, Integrations, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows) components for Oracle Cloud Financials.
  • Build and manage integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and other middleware tools
  • Develop and manage FBDI/ADFdi templates and data conversion processes from legacy systems to Oracle Cloud.
  • Create custom reports using BI Publisher, OTBI, and Smart View; support dashboards and analytics.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and provide scalable technical solutions
  • Perform technical impact analysis for enhancements, patches, and Oracle quarterly updates.
  • Support system configuration, environment setup, and deployment activities in various test and production environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to customizations, interfaces, and performance.
  • Ensure adherence to Oracle-recommended implementation methodologies (AIM/OUM/Unified Method).
  • Provide support during SIT, UAT, and go-live phases; create technical documentation (MD050/MD070, CV040, etc.).
  • Mentor junior technical team members and provide technical leadership on projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle ERP Technical roles, including a minimum of 4+ years in Oracle Cloud ERP (Financials and/or Procurement).
  • Strong experience in Oracle PaaS Extensions, OIC, Web Services (SOAP/REST), BIP, OTBI.
  • Proficient in PL/SQL, APIs, and Oracle database programming.
  • Proven experience in data migration, FBDI, HDL, and CSV-based upload processes.
  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud modules such as GL, AP, AR, FA, CE, and Tax from a technical perspective
  • Strong understanding of integration/data flow between Oracle ERP modules and third-party systems.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud infrastructure, security (roles and privileges), and environment management.
  • Experience with Agile, Hybrid Agile, or Waterfall implementation methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
  • End-to-end implementation experience as a Technical Lead
  • Having some minimum experience on HCM technical Conversion is a plus.
