Oracle HRIS Project Specialist - Testing

Job Summary:

The Oracle HRIS Project Specialist - Testing is responsible for the coordination and management of all testing activities, project/program communications, stakeholder engagement, and project support as required within the PMO tower. The Project Specialist will be a strong conduit and partner between HR, IT, vendors, and Production Support acting as an engagement lead and ensuring continuous learning and improvement in the team delivery. The Sr. Project Analyst will schedule and facilitate meetings, manage action items, and prepare project schedules for multiple tracks. This is a remote-based long-term contract, applicants must reside in the US.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

  • Manage enhancement, upgrade, critical HR cycle calendars to ensure timely kickoff and management of these activities.
  • Manage the user testing process, ranging from staging, support, and participation.
  • Partner with members of IT operations, Compliance Teams, HRIS, and Human Resource Functional Stakeholders in ensuring project methods/activities are aligned within the enterprise delivery principles.
  • Partner with finance and program management office to ensure full process support, alignment, and cohesive execution.
  • Create and manage project communications. Ensure timely and articulate communications execution.
  • Align with all required SDLC and compliance requirements.
  • Responsible for selected documentation creation and organization.
  • Interpret functional HR requirements into Oracle Cloud HCM design requirements.
  • Partner with the Change Management team to ensure all program/project communications are aligned with the CM activities.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Project management experience
  • Data Analytics experience, high level of skill using MS Excel
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow in support of production tickets, software controls, and SDLC activities
  • Project Management Software a plus, PlanView knowledge preferred
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, such as SOX, GDPR, PIPEDA
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and cycles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop productive partnerships with stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt to a fast and dynamic environment with overlapping initiatives
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, intellectually curious, and attentive to detail
  • Partnering approach to stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to work with cross-functional, global/remote teams across multiple time zones
  • Readily adapt to changes in workload, staffing, and scheduling
  • Continually learning and improving on current skills

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management arena
  • 5+ years of experience in HR or HR Systems function (Oracle Cloud HCM preferred)
  • Commensurate technical and functional experience to perform required job duties
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
