Director of Sales & Marketing Intelligence & Analytics

Position Description:
In this role you will be responsible for executing and managing install based and white space consumer data and studies.  The role will be critical to the product roadmap, with your insights being a key driver to product development and marketing for advanced medical diagnostic AI-based software. 

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that Customer perspective leads the organization to develop meaningful, customer-focused value propositions and price accordingly to capture maximum value
  • Primary Research into Customer Priorities:
    • Lead drafting of primary research interview guides/questionnaires for usable analysis
    • Structure and conduct primary research campaigns with and without third-party team(s)
    • Analyze primary research to drive quantitative and qualitative insights and cause-effect relationships
    • Understand decision drivers leading to competitive solution adoption
    • For new initiatives, develop price-volume impact decomposition to optimize product and clinical development priorities
    • Understand customer decision makers and key addressable priorities by role/perspective
    • Help customers articulate issues and concerns
  • Secondary Research into Customer Priorities:
    • Understand competitive offerings and relative positioning versus customer needs
    • Maintain market and competitive landscape intelligence
  • Pricing for value
    • Develop pricing and elasticities for various solution features and functions
    • Research and provide context around competitive products
    • Understand pricing and sensitivities related to various decision maker roles
  • Channel impact
    • Research channel and collaborative solution differentiation and tie to customer needs/preferences
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a passion to understand and address customer needs and the following:
  • BSc/MSc degree in marketing, business or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Thought leadership in customer research, analytical methods, and distillation of impactful, actionable insight
  • 5+ years of working experience in customer research/analytical marketing/pricing in complex product environment, preferably life science focused (physicians, patients, and payers as customer)
  • Proven effective leadership of internal, cross functional resources and external consulting/tactical research vendor teams
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, urgent environment
  • Expertise and familiarity in creatively applying a broad range of methods and analytical tools to efficiently design experimental approaches to drive fast answers
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to comfortably interact in a focused manner with physicians, senior managers and external decision makers.
  • Proven ability to present data and lead internal constituents to actionable conclusions
